How do I politely ask my girlfriend to become my legal guardian

I'm 35 my girlfriend is 42 I want her to take me in for legal guardianship because my dad is getting older I want him to slow down because he needs to take care of my stepmom more but I think my girlfriend would be a good candidate to become my legal guardian.
I am worried about my dad's physical health and mental health.

NO NO NO.....

Talk to your social worker about what your best choice for a legal guardian would be.

Note: if you break up or piss off the GF... and she is your legal guardian (and possibly your representative payee) she could easily rip you off and make you homeless.
@Threepio Abusers don't need a reason to financially abuse someone.

It's not fair to imply that something a survivor does will cause abuse because that opens the idea that it's their own fault when it isn't. The blame for financial abuse always belongs to the person who chooses to abuse.
