Economic blackout

Apparently today’s an economic blackout day. 24 hrs without indulging in our favourite activity - no not that, I mean shopping.

Boycott started at midnight and runs until midnight tonight. It’s to protest against the influence of - who else? - billionaires, big corporations, and political parties on everyday (wo)man.

Did you join the boycott and refrain from purchasing anything today? Is trying to convince people to stay home on Friday night gonna work?

I didn't buy anything but just because I had nothing to buy.

Protests like this help just about as much as when a small child threatens to hold their breath if they don't get their way.
