Hoarding eggs?

I live in a rich people town and was at the fancy pants grocery store checkout. The cashier struck up a convo about my misfits hoodie and told me that people are buying 20-30 cartons of eggs at a time and trying to return them after they expire. She said they come in on shipment days and buy all the eggs in one day.

Wtf is that? Wtf is going on America? Please wake up.

That reminds me of people buying all kinds of TP when the pandemic was on, once it was over they were trying to return it. Many stores weren`t having anything to do with it. I hope the ones with all the eggs end up with lots of expired eggs. 🤨
