If a person has children and the other parent is unable to care for them financially, but the first parent is able, and the child support or alimony

does not benefit the child, what action should be taken? 🤔

You have described a situation similar to one which I found myself in a while back. My ex had a decent job and she got 25% of my wages as child support and also received child benefit from the government. She spent the bare minimum on our kids, who always looked unkempt and complained to anybody who listened that I didn't pay enough. What could I do to remedy the situation? Buy them more clothing but that was a pointless exercise as the waste of space never did any clothes washing. She 'cleaned' her bras with Febreze a smell which still triggers me to this day.
