So if you get a traffic ticket in a foreign country does it follow you?
I've been planning some foreign countries and I just wonder if I happen to get a speeding ticket will it have any consequences once I get back home

If you are renting a car then it will likely follow you financially dependingbif it is a in person ticket or a radar or red light camera.
