@BobbyMoeven oh my friend I'm a afraid it's actually my narcissistic father's place and it always comes with a cost, often emotional but sometimes just yard work that you'll definitely do the wrong way. The right way, no one actually knows, but apparently there is one and I never do it.

I hear you .... most family owned cottages come with that burden .....

I have a friend , who no longer talks to their siblings over a cottage inheritance brewhaha ,,, Their parents weren't even dead , but they handed over the cottage in such a mis-managed fashion that their kids just grew apart because of who was more deserving and other bullishit like that ...
