@orioninthenight are you the one who hit my car???
@Melissa501 *deletes my account*

Unfortunately, more than a few have arrived with first posts insulting the site, others have begun with explicitly sexual pictures or fetish posts.

I guess it’s like coming into a new club or school, new members are welcome, but, as one friend said,
"they come kicking in the door like Kramer and then complain that no one’s welcoming them !"
I guess because so many new users are old users with a new account. And if you have been harassed or bothered by someone (and at somepoint everyone has) people are cautious you are not them

Welcome!

So many fakes, catfish, bots, alt accounts...

You would think, "This is just a forum, who really cares who is who?" but some people take that junk real serious, as if they are going to hang out in real life.

Yeah sometimes people do meet in real life but not often enough that we need to care who is who on here.

@CestManan Exactly!
Musicman · 61-69, M
Because most are either AI bots or a new alternate account for someone. It is rare we get an actual new user.

@Musicman that will reply too

People seem to think that welcoming a new user who may somehow be a catfish or a second account of a new user is a sign of weakness or something.

I'd rather just be welcoming and if it's someone trying to manipulate me, I don't care.
calicuz · 51-55, M
Because, they're either bots or pervs, so I must "protect" myself. 🕵️‍♂️
@calicuz perv here, guilty as charged

Hi. I'm new here and I don't get it either.

People are suspicious
cause they are usually scammers, especially when its a hot girl with no posts for weeks, who acts like that?
Lilnonames · F
most are alt users or bots
