What’s a sad truth/reality that you learned on your journey through life?

The majority of the things that went wrong were my fault. And I had to take responsibility for that even if the fault was as simple as “because I reacted badly to being mistreated.” If I’d maintained control instead of letting emotions lead, there wouldn’t have been as much damage.
