Theoretically, a glass is always full of air.
Most commonly, a glass holds liquid. It's possible for the glass to be half full. Mathematically, it's impossible to be "half empty" because anything multiplied by zero always equals zero. 1/2 x 0 = 0
Thus, "half empty" is an impossibility.
