User info on posts

I’m new here, but it seems that beside posts it shows users’ pictures, ages, and genders.
Why do you think some people on this site decline to share their age?

@originnone are there really kids on here? I don’t care as long as they’re not trolls. Kids can be very insightful, funny, and considerate. But I’m sure there’s an age restriction they’d have to lie about to get on the site
