There's no simple answer to that as the question is not as simple as 'the birds and the bees'
Nowadays... you have to allow room for the bees & the bees... the birds & the birds... the birds that use to be bees... the bees that use to be birds... the birds that look like bees.. plus the bees that look like birds but still have a stinger.
