I think, based on my own experiences when I've been passive-aggressive towards people in the past, that being passive aggressive is much more stressful and anxiety producing for the aggressor than it is for anyone their attention is directed at. There's a lot of internalized stress and anxiety, circular thinking (just going over the same thing in your brain over and over) that causes a passive aggressive person to suffer. Way more than any of their "victims".
As a person who has had people be passive-aggressive towards me, I kind of laugh internally, knowing the extreme internal pressures they are experiencing, and how little they actually affect me with their post it notes or snarky comments. I am literally not thinking about it at all two minutes later, except if it was so amusing I'm still laughing about it.

@Dust057 I don’t think being passive aggressive is good for anyone. It’s certainly not a healthy lifestyle. I imagine relationships come hard to maintain for these people. Just my 2 cents.
