Does being open-minded has its limit?

How open-minded one can be? Would you accept every idea someone presents to you?

I think considering everything and asking why is a good way to be, if we accept everything we stand for nothing though.

I'm open to things I don't necessarily understand as long as it doesn't limit or harm others.
