Europe Marriage Question

Europe in general seems more liberal than America. So I was was wondering, where do they stand on people marrying more than one person?

Is it legal some places or still completely illegal?

PS: No I'm not trying to do that, nor is this supposed to be a thread debating the morality of such things... just is the world going to that or no?

I think I've read about a few people marrying weird things... like one person (a female) marrying a dog and another (a male) marrying a human doll. I forget where they did that.
And that makes no sense, because neither a dog nor a doll can consent.
Polygamous marriages may not be performed in the United Kingdom, and if a polygamous marriage is performed, the already-married person may be guilty of the crime of bigamy under section 11 of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973.
If polygamy ever becomes legal, it will be like the law where it exists in other countries, but hopefully with the consent of all parties involved.
