Did your parents prepare you for adulthood?

Did you talk about budgeting, bullies, racial discrimination, sex, taxes, etc? What subjects did your parents teach you and what subjects have you taught your children as they are growing up?

Not really and I don't even blame them, they lived in different times when lot of things worked differently. How can you even prepare a kid for times like this?
