Did your parents prepare you for adulthood?

Did you talk about budgeting, bullies, racial discrimination, sex, taxes, etc? What subjects did your parents teach you and what subjects have you taught your children as they are growing up?

My parents didn't prepare me for anything. They kept me and my siblings fed and we never slept on the street or anything but they were completely emotionally unavailable my entire life.

@thepeculiarpanda we were fed as well and made sure we were properly clothed, never slept on the streets too. Oh I feel mine weren't there too for those reasons.

@GunFinger Mine were too busy chasing religion and we got dragged along. :)

@thepeculiarpanda mine weren't much into religion although we went to church on Sundays that's all. They were very busy entertaining friends to our house and having businesses.

@GunFinger Mine decided that religious college was a good idea when I was 9 years old. Then dad spent four years pastoring and we made two really big moves only to end up right back where we started.
