Have you ever thought that if you had a child you would ruin them like your mum ruined you and you ruined yourself?

Tbh I have always been terrified of that. It’s what has driven me to do everything I can to avoid it. In some ways it’s a great ‘what not to do’.

Yes I actually had that thought when I became pregnant. I was terrified that I would be like my parents. I actively did everything the opposite of them and was never the mother that I had. That's something I'm very proud of

Still... Have to try and Remember the good times....

It's why I make an effort to not speak to her the way I was/am spoken to.

Yep that's why no kids for me (amoung other reasons)
