Is it policy to unplug the camera of the car when you get your car serviced?

How would you know what they did if you can't see what they've stated on the list, especially during the most expensive maintenance? What if they broke something, how will you prove it to the insurance company?

It’s a data protection breach in the uk because there are other cars in the garage and it could be filming customers, their car regs or interactions between them and staff. That’s why in general you have to turn them off.

Most car service centres now email you videos of them performing the service and checks around your vehicle

I remember when I was a lot younger someone left a camera 📷 in their car 🚗 when handing back in, so me and some others took a few pictures of random things and gave the camera back lol
