Is it worth giving best answer, does that ever become expected?

I remember it was a bigger deal on EP for some reason.

It can be a nice thank you for a particularly thoughtful, insightful, or funny response. I don't think anyone expects it though. It's a bonus really.

I’m not sure how others feel. It’s nice to receive, but I’ll still respond to questions where it’s already been chosen. I don’t assign it that often unless an answer especially touches or amuses me.
