If that makes you happy and your kid doesn't mind, go for it! For me it wouldn't work, but to each their own.
(I use photos to trigger memories and this plan wouldn't remind me of their birthday, but of having a second batch of cupcakes to stage a photo.)

@NerdyPotato i was wondering about how ud get round it with a kid.
My daughter is 21 now. And shes told me she hated when her relatives made her stage a photo .
Even so young, she knew what was happening, and that it wasnt for her , it was for them .
