Is our democracy salvageable?

Of course this country and democracy is salvageable. The wonderful thing is, the US Constitution is as flexible as we the people are willing to stretch our minds. It was written as a template, not a sacred text. It was intended to be guiding and interpreted, not taken literally and exclusively.

This country is fine. We have some serious issues with which to contend but we're a country in its infancy compared to human civilization. We have every tool and resource we need to ensure equality, tranquility and prosperity for everyone.

That presumes America needs fixing, I think not. We don't have a perfect system of government but I don't think there are any better "Warts and all".
