I see a lot of caucasian men date/marry Asian particularly Chinese women. Why is that in your opinion

I dated a lady I met when she was a waitress at a Chinese restaurant I frequented (though she was mostly Vietnamese) and started talking to her when I’d eat there. I got to like her enough to ask her out and we were together for over 3 years.
She was beautiful, but I wouldn’t call it a fetish (I’ve met a number of other Asian ladies, some of whom were quite attractive, and never asked any of them out). I was attracted to this lady’s personality as well as her appearance....and we’re still friends to this day.
