I would agree.
He likes to give this image of a genius which he isn’t but he is one of the greediest people on the earth. His scratching up the way to dominance with Microsoft proved that.

Okay, but where do those profits go? Do they not get put into the pursuit of other philanthropic endeavors? The research takes time, and money. It's not like he's buying up the real estate market, and profiting for the sake of profit. He doesn't have to allocate funds to any of this research, or help the world in any way, he could just roll around in the money giggling instead. Would that be better?
