Who else is sad to learn that Alex Trebek has died of Pancreatic cancer at 80?

Wow! First I've heard of it. My dad had pancreatic cancer but survived. Third person to ever live without a pancreas.

Me. I never met him, but I DID work for the company that distributes Jeopardy! and screened many episodes for quality control before they aired.

Pretty much everyone, I imagine. I remember when he let the public know about the diagnosis. I think he survived a year.
