No. I usually just post pictures. I've gotten kind of sick of facebook though. It's gotten boring, and making me feel a little bad about my own life.

Haniazed....people post their homemade foods, and most of them don't look that appetizing (the people I know anyway), one woman posted a picture of what was supposed to be homegrown collard greens and it looked like a greasy skillet of bacon with a few strands of collard green cooked in it...not at all impressive. If I want to see great pictures with recipes I'll go to FoodGawker.

What was bad about the meal? Big Mac under the heat lamps too long? Soggy fries? The suspense is killing me.

I know what you mean, I luckily don't see that I mostly use Facebook to keep up with musical adventures and my sisters nieces nephews. What I find silly is when I post links to concert videos and people click the like button and I know they have not had time to watch even parts of them, and if it's vids of me playing, I can see how long they watched for and often it is about 20 seconds, my shorter songs are about 9 minutes long. Funny thing, I feel sorry for people that eat Big Macs and any "food?." Such as that

Now that I have an anonymous Facebook profile, I just might. The people deserve to know!

@mahjack, I don't know, I've never been on snapchat, I don't know what it's about.

I rarely post anything on FB, I've got people on my FB who asked me to create a FB page and they don't interact with me so I just use it to look at other FB pages (recipes, flowers, natural medicine or whatever) or to enter sweepstakes and sign up for Freebies. But I do look at the pages of those who asked me and some of them do post that drivel....I know them in real life and it differs from their real life and personality...some of them are just wanting attention from people who barely know them.

this particular friend really posts any random thought that comes into her head. She's lovely in real life, but facebook has put me off her, she acts like a twit there.

@cloud41; I think that some people are showing off and their life isn't that great. I know a woman who posts photos like as if she has a great life, it's all oh "look at me doing this and that"..
In reality, she's always moaning about not having money, she begrudges people who are doing well, she is trying to convince herself that she is having a great life and seems to need the stamp of approval in the way of facebook likes etc.

I've never really understood that..it must be me, like I'm missing something in life - thousands spend their lives on Facebook with meaningless posts like that
Mahjack · 31-35, M
Isn't that supposed to be in snapchat or something? Lol

It is, to me at least, a significant waste of time and energy to put up a post like that.

It's because they think their friends will actually care. The more likes they get, the more they'll post these silly things. I'm glad I'm not on Facebook. Lol

I have to admit, food porn is one thing I do a lot of on FB but I definitely wouldn't be posting about Big Macs...McRib maybe! 😂
