I Have a Question

Why would a guy go out with someone make out they like them but clearly find that person ugly looking try to change that person always complain about that person tell you every day other girls better looking try go after other girls but stay with you and you try to make a point that they don't like you and that is clear but still try to stay with you is it out of desperation they stay with you or what.

They're insecure, demeaning you reinforces them as alpha male ( in their mind), making them feel powerful.
Not much of a man really!
My opinion is that he needs you more than you need him, and that you're only "ugly" when you don't comply with his agenda.
