Can I put hard boiled eggs in the fridg? I have extra left over from today that I plan on using tomorrow.

Okay guys update on the eggs! I put them in the fridge with the shell on like 2 days ago... When I took them out this morning after removing the shell they were grayish and frozen so I threw them out. Where did I go wrong?
