Better to be by your self than be around people who don't really care. Better to have no or few friends that fake friends.
Here is what you can do. Start calling people whom don't normally call you, and invite them over who don't normally invite you over. If they refuse Ares still ignore you, then ateast you will know your time is to precious and valuable to be awaiting on them.
Learn to enjoy your own company, and appreciate your self, you may be less inclined to dwell on the absence of other people's interaction with you.
