The smaller the package, the higher the percentage cost as a whole of the packing. The actual product costs virtually nothing to make. You're just paying for the thing it comes in. Those companies would prefer you buy the biggest, cheapest version to package, but if you want to buy smaller, they don't mind charging you a premium so that they don't lose out.

Convenience. Same reason candy at the checkout is over a dollar and the same candy, in a 6 pack is 1 dollar, on the candy aisle at the back 😀

I have heard, the packaging costs more than the actual product inside. More expensive packaging ? Or a convienant charge for the grab and go size..lol
