I Have a Question

Is there any exercises you can do to stop yourself from internalising and focus more on the external things like goals that require you to think outside the box and seeing the good that people do?

I mean I just want to focus more on the good that others and on my goals a bit, but my brain is telling me "it could be dangerous and you have to save your energy for yourself". Like beat the fear a bit at the time, somehow?

Try getting a notebook or a journal and write your goals down - read ithe list each morning.
At the end of each day - write a list of at least 3 things that you are grateful for that happened that day.
I hope this helps.

Crossfit....you'll be wondering why you are flipping a tire for no reason or jumping on a box
@JarJarBoom Fair enough, I might just give it a go... It can't hurt
