I Have a Question

In a relationship..If you were deeply hurt by a certain action, and you told your partner, simply expecting their understanding, does that mean you’re abusing, imposing, or trying to be possessive?

Why do some fail to listen and see into someone’s heart. Could they be self centered?

Sometimes its all in how you delivered the message. Other time the person receiving has been hurt by you and maybe has resentment to issues they havent talked about.

@NeuroticByNature Perhaps. But what if you told them and asked them in a gentle or in a loving way to avoid the action, and yet they kept doing it and called you unnecessary things?

Is it past experiences or just inconsiderate?

@Mahjack its hard to say really. It really depends on the action in question. If it was something that happened intimately between the two then a partner should try to be respectful of the others wishes.
