In a relationship..If you were deeply hurt by a certain action, and you told your partner, simply expecting their understanding, does that mean you’re abusing, imposing, or trying to be possessive?

Why do some fail to listen and see into someone’s heart. Could they be self centered?

No, if you were hurt by your partner, if there was true love, your partner would listen deeply to your concerns and make it right. Yes, they could be focused on themselves first and foremost.
