Leave the person who is abusing you.

@Lovelyelaine101 wow. Well done. Time then. Time, some counselling, some new hobbies, get to really like yourself. Alot of abuse survivors find creative outlets really help - card making, painting, knitting, pottery, jewellery making, - I have done them all lol

In time once you like yourself you will start enjoying life again.

@Lovelyelaine101 it's a start. I also took up dance classes - they're fun, the concentration involved means no dwelling on negative and it's exercise which releases endorphins. I did tap, line and belly dancing. Very few men if any so if being around men is an issue then these types of classes have none or very few.

I'm guessing you're abuser was a man?

Also I only ate healthy food except for at weekends because healthy food helps with feeling better.

@Lovelyelaine101 However much time you have available to give to yourself use it. Use it do things that nourish you - dancing, painting, eat well - or whatever you think you may enjoy that is healthy for you.

The energy you put into the relationship put into you.

I know it's infuriating to be abused, feel powerless and trapped. You're free now and it's ok to be angry about it. Anger is energy. Use the energy to care for yourself as you would care for a dear friend or relative.
