@Justlilme Basically there's videos on youtube of scambaiters, what they do is get numbers to obvious scam companies (such as fake companies claiming they work of the IRS to scare unknowing people out of thousands of dollars etc), then call them up to waste the scammer's time and resources, whilst advertising these companies as untrustworthy and raising awareness to the general public.
In one way it can be seen as a positive thing as the scammers are not able to use this time to con money out of vulnerable/ uneducated victims, however you also have to question if it hinders any investigations as the fake companies change their numbers when they become hot for scambaiters.
