My Guess...It could be because of the release of sexual tension. It is a selfish attitude, but maybe not too uncommon. He got his...for the moment he is satisfied and preoccupied with other things that now move to the front burner of his mind. It doesn't mean he didn't enjoy it, or that he'll want to be a good partner in the relationship. Only that he is being selfish about doing his own thing now that the tension is relieved and he feels satisfied.
The antidote to that would be to discuss it, teach him to be less self absorbed by making him think about why he reacts this way, and be a little more coy about intimacy...making it special and a selfless act on his part to get you revved up first before his turn?

Going back to my earlier comment about this being basically a selfish act that says more about his own self-absorption than an intent to disregard the relationship. Here is something you might consider trying...
A man is spent after intercourse. There is a period of recovery where things don't work like he wants them to. Usually brief, but still a little unsettling for his ego. He can withdraw until he feels up to romance again.
Try giving him a few minutes or so, and then see if you can help him get back into the swing of things down there. A little caressing, teasing and dirty talk might get his battery recharged. Don't go for round 2 at this moment. Just tell him you want to be sure he is ready when you are, and wanted to stimulate him a little to keep him interested and wondering about when that might be! (Do this in your own girl power way of course, but you see where I'm going with this...if the drive is there, he will still pursue the hunt!)

I'll tell you what I really think, though it ain't pretty. It wasn't as good as he thought it would be. If it blew his mind, he'd be back, but what's basically happened is he has weighed up how many hoops he had to jump through to get there, and how many he'll have to jump through again, and decided to move on.

These men are trophy hunters they go with a woman get what they want and then on to the next lady ,,,, I find these people a very low life to use people like this ... when I was young there were these people ,,, but there seems to be more of them now ,,, it is a sad world we have made for our selves ,,,

Many reasons, most of them mentioned here but will agree, maybe wasn't as good or what he expected, maybe he's a selfish douche, maybe he was cheating, definitely immaturity and just wanting to get laid. Curious when you say begins to ignore, do you mean immediately after (sometimes that's sexual guilt) or you mean for days after (just wanted sex). Truth will come out if he contacts you again and what the extent of the conversation is. If you feel it is going out and leading to sex again you have your answer. Best way to answer it is tell him you want to hold off on sex for a few weeks and see if he sticks around.
