i'd call it two words linked by an apostrophe standing for the missing 'a'. Handbook is a compound word - the first part is an adjective that qualifies the second. "You're" is an abbreviation that links two separate words without erasing either. IMHO 😅.

ok, i concede. On further research, there seems to be a clear majority for counting "You're" as one word. I was wrong.

Sorry. The word is contraction, Nevertheless it is one word. @SW-User
