I Will Post One Word

merkin

ˈməːkɪn/
noun
noun: merkin; plural noun: merkins
an artificial covering of hair for the pubic area.

This arose from a conversation I had this morning, and yes, you are reading correctly, it is a pubic toupee.
It was fashionable in Victorian London when prostitutes for hygienic reasons had to remove their own hair and replace it with those toupees, that could be ornate and very colourful.
I discovered about it after seeing a report on tv about a shop in London trying to re-launch the fashion.
Now that you are wiser, I look forward to hear about those of you who managed to place that word in a conversation.

Wow. Thanks for teaching me a new word. If times change I think many women will want a merkin.

Do you think there is a market there?

I didn't even know there was such a thing.

I know....I was also very surprised when I heard about it!
A bit disappointing, MrSquishy. It had such an exotic, almost magical sound to it. Merkin. It should have died and been buried in the Victorian times.
