Its been 8 years...

Since I told her I'd wait for her. She went to find herself. It's been 8 years and I havent heard from her. Shes probably moved on. I still think of her. I probably mean nothing to her. Why do I do this to myself?

Because you cared deeply for her. But, you need to let her go. 8 years without a word means that she didn't have the guts to tell you that she didn't feel about you, the way you felt about her.
