Its been 8 years...

Since I told her I'd wait for her. She went to find herself. It's been 8 years and I havent heard from her. Shes probably moved on. I still think of her. I probably mean nothing to her. Why do I do this to myself?

It's okay to feel that way. I still have very fond memories of someone from 10 years ago. But life is very short and she moved on a long time ago.
