@SolGryn Well, it really depends how you say things to people. Maybe they get the impression that you want more than friendship and you are coming on too hard. Is it a friendship that you want or is it more than that? If it is a friendship, why re-iterate what she means to you as a friend. If you are good friends with someone then that is implied, no need to state the obvious. It's quite possible just in your approach in how you are saying it. Also, don't beat yourself up over it.
