Sometimes the holidays are hard to take, especially for people who grew up in abusive households. Is anyone besides me feeling that this year?

Holidays like Thanksgiving were living hell when I was a kid. My father would be in a rage and looking for a victim. Usually me. I have avoided Thanksgiving my whole adult life. If I think about it it's a nightmare.
