Do Americans want everything in the world to be “cute” or is that just a misguided perception?

People, partners, hair, nails, cars, houses, inanimate cooking utensils, plates of food..you name it..it has to be “Cute”.
Please correct my xenophobia if I’m wrong

@SW-User I definitely don't think of America as being cute or wanting cute things. I more associate that with the Japanese.
