I wouldn’t, but when they are totally vulnerable and on the verge of passing out, I wouldn’t be blunt with them either. I’ll give them the time to recover first. Truth can be conveyed in proper way without hurting or being rude. It takes good communication skills to convey the truth in a non-hurtful way.
