I'm not currently in love, but sometimes I wish I was just so I don't keep reminding myself of that awful song "I'm Not In Love". Believe it or not, they still play that dreadful dirge on the radio. I can't imagine why, any more than I can imagine why such a pile of sh*t was a hit all those years ago.

You cannot be "in love" all the time.
It fluctuates and ebbs and flows like the tide.

The trick is to be best friends. Have some commonality and interests. Be respectful of each other and continue the dialogue.
I know it comes back and when it does it is magic.
