I’m gonna start off by saying at least one Crazy Uncle.

@TexChik oh yeah have seen those and dealt with them too.

@cherokeepatti Yep me too. The rest of the family was afraid to deal with her because she would get so unpleasant. I dealt with her on her level, then had her arrested when she would not leave (called the sheriff and she got belligerent with the deputy and got arrested, I dont have that authority). Then other family members complained that was too harsh and whined about her welfare (expecting my hubby and I to pay for it). I told them I would set up a go fund me for her and match what ever they put in collectively. No one offered a cent 🙄. She broke into a few houses out in the country to steal to support her meth habit. The Texas Department of Corrections is drying her out.

@TexChik same with the boy’s mother. She was a professional moocher using her babies to exploit family members. Didn’t want to work, expected to mooch off of relatives and take as much as she could. I had to talk her grandmother (great-grandmother) because she was belligerent and demanding causing everyone to walk on eggshells around her till she got her way. She wanted to borrow her grandmothers car and she refused to give her the keys so she left the house in a huff and then the grandmother discovered her false teeth were missing. When she finally returned home she questioned her about them and she told her had thrown them in the trash can at Sonic. Her son-in-law paid for her a new set of false teeth. I talked to her about how she was being abused after the woman and her uncle got into a loud argument and that was senior abuse. Told her not to just believe me but go down to the local police station and ask to talk to someone there and tell them what had been going on with her. She had a protective order filed on her, and she already had custody of the two children so she got one for them too.

@cherokeepatti yep, its the white trash chronicles with those folks. I just dont get it. Life is good to those who work hard and do more than they need to become successful.

@TexChik I hate to say it but this one will never grow up, she is 41 years old now and her grandma died nearly 7 years ago. She is becoming violent now and has had two charges put on her for assaults in the past year. I don’t think any relatives are doing anything for her but she is in and out of the courts and never gets anything resolved without getting in trouble within a couple months later. I’m helping to raise her boy and she’s not allowed to come over here after the way she acted towards me in the hospital when her grandma was dying. She hadn’t even come around her children for 6 months or even asked anyone about how they were doing but was jealous when she saw me sitting next to that boy. Threw a fit and went into a loud cursing tirade at me and threatened to cut my head off because I was watching her around the boy. After she left her uncle came to me and apologized and I told him I would let it go considering the circumstances & didn’t want the children upset but if she made another threat or laid a hand on me I would file charges and not drop them. I think someone told her.

@cherokeepatti yep. They are their own worst enemies, but its everyone else's fault

@TexChik she’s got a different judge now in that small town and maybe he’ll do something with her. He ordered her to submit a monthly drug-hair test and to go to anger management classes and other things. I don’t know if she is doing it or not but she got in trouble again for causing a disturbance with someone else in public.

@cherokeepatti A year in county might wake her up

@TexChik about 8 years ago she checked herself into a rehab that the former governor got started in OKC, it was for women especially those with children. it was a 9-month program and it was free. She got booted out before she was in there for 6 months because she was refusing to interact in the classes and even admitted she sat there with her arms crossed and wouldn’t talk. Complained about how they took her food stamps to buy groceries and griped about how bad the food was, how she could hardly stand to eat it but had gained about 80 pounds while she was in there. I don’t know how that was possible since she didn’t have any spending money & weren’t allowed to go outside of the facility. I can’t imagine how much weight gain she would have had if the food had been good.
