More or less. I definitely pick up on things under the surface.

Is that also know as surface tension 🤔@Magenta

All of my close friends... This is weird but it seems that when I dislike someone at first, I try to give them many MANY chances until I like them. Been knowing my childhood friend for 18 years (the first few months we were enemies, but we were only 9, so the concept of enemy wasn't really defined at that age, still is funny) and my high school friends took me a year to appreciate, known them for 14 years now.

@ParadoxalTaboo You sound like someone with a big heart.

Thank you :) I do like to think that I am, but maybe others would have another point of view.

Not too uncommon. Normally it is if they are cocky or smug
goodguy007 · 41-45, M
Wouldn't say dislike but rather did not feel any connect.
What about you?

@goodguy007 I'd get wrong impression, sometimes, but never disliked them when I knew nothing about them yet. There's more than what meets the eye.

@Madeleine So agree! Not everyone is always on their real behaviour. You never know what they are going through.
Sourdad · 56-60, M
That happens sometimes. I used to ignore my first impressions, but I always regretted it later.

Not at first. Major dislike set in after a certain person spoke.
akindheart · 61-69, F
