I'll Tell You My Opinion

There's a lot of pressure on women to from all angles to look a certain way, or achieve a certain body type.

Wether it be the fitness look with the lean abs, sculpted arms, lifted round booty. Or to have that thick look with a big ol booty, relatively small waist, and round hips. Or anything on the fringes or in between...

Often wether consciously, or sub consciously, this is geared around pleasing men or being attractive to men.

But our bodies are not for men. Our bodies belong to us. If a woman chooses to share her body with a man that is a gift and not a given. Personally I like men like I like cake 馃巶 馃槈 But in my opinion, all our attitudes need to change. It's a subtle mindset that exists in our society but no matter how subtle or insignificant it seems, it is still present. Normally I'd speak as objectively as possible and talk simply as a human, but for this post I speak as a half white, half hispanic woman who has witnessed this type of mindset first hand many times in my life.

So girlfriend, get that body that you like to wake up to everyday, and any man that is worth having in your life will appreciate whatever physique you have. But you can't expect a man (or woman) to treat you with love and respect if you don't love and respect yourself.

Love is a universal value. It belongs to all races, all genders, all religions, and all body types. That includes you babe 馃槝

I think we need to start trying to get to know people interested of letting the other person do all the talking and asking.
