It doesn’t have to be one thing or another, all or nothing.

Time, money, and resources can be better allocated than given to Black Lives Matter. Now before every daisy chain head band wearing vegan white girl and emotional wreck twig boy says I’m racist and Hate blacks. Nope sorry it’s the opposite.

I’ve taken part in many youth programs From the BSA to the DNR. To give these kids a chance to learn things they normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to do so. From learning various hobbies such as fishing, camping, swimming, survival craft. To leadership and socialization skills. The kids get the opportunity to learn that they are capable of anything they put their minds to.

We don’t sit them down and tell them due to their race they are disadvantaged. That is a damaging blow to their self esteem and confidence.

I’d much rather see money be given to programs like these instead of wasted on projects like painting “Black Lives Matter” on a roadway. That money could be used to build or repair parks in the city, or to invest in black local businesses.

Our local sheriffs department reworked the jail so when someone is arrested they are rehabilitated and taught how to better their life in the ways of job opportunity and self care and reliance. These programs have helped our local black community far more than BLM has.

I’m curious what BLM has been doing especially with the money they’re given?
