It would record the last 60 seconds, showing speed, acceleration/deceleration, turning, and more. Most important, it would record sounds from the cab including what was said.

In 48 states, the last words of the driver were most often "Oh shit!". In California, it was "Fuck!" and in Arkansas, it was "Here, hold my beer!".
