I T Means A Lot To Me When Others Appreciate What I Post Here
When I first joined EP it was at the suggestion of a good friend. She was right to recommend it for a great many reasons, not the least of which was that I suspect she recognized that with my "writer's mind" I would embrace the opportunity to express myself openly here on what became an overwhelming number of topics that spoke to me personally.
Once I had established my profile and began to share my experiences, I was surprised at the feedback I was receiving. My insights were taken to heart, my ability to convey thoughts in an articulate written form was called refreshing, and some conversations were sparked as a result of me doing what comes naturally. I pride myself that when I sit down to write here I don't seem to be capable of simply writing a handful of words (except perhaps when venting about a post being blocked inexplicably). I love to write and to share, to develop thoughts conveyed beyond just the surface observations or concepts. It seems that this has been greatly appreciated by those who have read my all too minimal body of work thus far.
I want to thank everyone who has served to inspire me to write here, and in fact to return even when the end looms large. EP has been a remarkable experience and I hope that I have helped others who have read my words discover that they are not alone in how some of the groups speak to them. At its best EP was a community of thoughtfulness. I appreciate those who embraced that aspect of me and have reached out in various ways to make that clear.
